Miles Kimball, Professor of Economics, received his Ph.D. from Harvard University and joined the faculty at Michigan in 1987. His main interests are business cycle theory, the economics of uncertainty, survey measurement of preference parameters, and evolutionary theory. Professor Kimball is the author of
