Shripad Tuljapurkar

Shripad Tuljapurkar is Morrison Professor of Population Studies and Professor of Biological Sciences at Stanford University. He is President of Mountain View Research Inc., a company that does research and software development in the population sciences. Tuljapurkar is a Member of the Center for the Economics and Demography of Aging at the University of California, Berkeley, and a member of the Global Aging Commission. Tuljapurkar chairs a committee of the International Union for the Scientific Study of Population, focusing on the topic. Tuljapurkar is a former director of the Stanford Center for Population Research and former director of the Demography Core in the Center for Demography and Economics of Health and Aging.
