Selcuk Eren

Dr. Selcuk Eren is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University and supervising analyst at New York City Office of Management Budget (OMB) Policy and Operations Research task force. At OMB, he is responsible for conducting research on New York City’s policy initiatives with particular attention to their fiscal and economic implications. His current research focuses on variety of public policy issues including regulation of NYC taxi market, homelessness reduction initiatives, and minimum wage policies. He has published papers and reports on economic well-being, income and wealth inequality, housing markets, migration and immigration among others. Previously he worked as a research scholar at Levy Economics Institute of Bard College and a visiting assistant professor at Hamilton College. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Stony Brook University.
