Na Yin’s research focuses on social security aging and disability policies in the United States and Europe. Her research includes understanding effects of existing programs on individuals’ behavior and well-being, and utilizing dynamic structural models to simulate behavioral effects and fiscal effects of possible policy reforms. She also studies measurement of work limitation in a cross-country setting. Dr. Yin serves as a Faculty Associate of the CUNY Institute for Demographic Research (CIDR). She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
