Anya Samek

Associate Research Professor, University of Southern California

Anya Samek is an Associate Research Professor of Economics at the University of Southern California. She has a joint appointment at the Center for Economic and Social Research (CESR) and the Department of Economics.

Dr. Samek uses experiments to address questions on how economic theory can predict field behavior in the areas of health, education and charitable giving. She is also interested in the malleability of economic preferences at an early age, and in developing methods to best explore economic decisions of children in experiments.
