Alma Vega

Alma Vega was the 2015 Dean’s Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Her research focuses on the social and economic well-being of older immigrants in the U.S. and long-term care among immigrant communities. Before joining Penn, Dr. Vega obtained a doctoral degree in Demography from the University of California, Berkeley and completed a one-year postdoctoral fellowship in the Division of Labor and Population at the RAND Corporation.
